- Producing a model for a new, multi-service operator in Europe to support business and cash flow planning using different assumptions about sales levels, lead times, productivity, capital cost and overhead costs.
- Building a model to analyze the profitability, by application type, of data over satellite. This involved queuing theory to model the opportunity cost incurred by displacing voice capacity and how this varied depending on application characteristics such as delay tolerance.
- Building a model for a major bank to analyses profitability, by customer, of global services, using event-driven, activity-based costing to match costs per customer with their individually negotiated charges.
- Producing a model of a complete cellular operation, including network and customer sizings, that allowed instant changes to support what-if analysis on profitability of cellular operations, used by a global mobile operator to support negotiations with partners and license applications in over 20 countries.
